Weatherization

With the help of volunteers, H.O.M.E. offers free weatherization services for senior homeowners with low-incomes

Our free programs create an opportunity for home improvement while embodying the spirit of intergenerationality that powers our organization, by recruiting students and other individuals willing to contribute their time and labor. While seniors receive much-needed services and improvements to their home, everyone involved enjoys the opportunity to talk and share with kind-hearted individuals.

Weatherization

The Weatherization service, which runs from October through December includes insulation of windows to reduce drafts in the home to keep seniors warm during harsh Chicago winters.
