Our 7 Favorite Super Bowl Commercials

Posted by Eftiola Trebicka on Feb 2, 2015 11:50:25 AM

This year's Super Bowl was fantastic. The game itself was a strong match up between two great teams. I am sure Patriots fans everywhere woke up this morning with a huge smile on their face (I know I did!).

The game and the half time show were exciting, but the commercials this year made the Super Bowl even better. Fun Fact, a  Super Bowl commercial can cost companies cost between $4-4.5 million (A huge increase from the first Super Bowl in 1967, where the average cost of a 30-second ad was between $37,500 to $42,500). Some of this year's commecials made us laugh, some made us cry, and some left us very confused.

Here is my list of the 7 best commercials of Super Bowl 49!

Giving Tuesday Impact Series: Ethan has 30 grandparents

Posted by Janet Takehara on Dec 1, 2014 12:15:00 PM

“H.O.M.E. is a very unique place that offers more than just the services they provide. It’s a community that truly cares for one another, and I’m glad to have called it home for so long!”

The affordable housing offered by H.O.M.E. has been intergenerational by design from the very start. In 1982, Pat Crowley House opened its doors and became the home of twelve seniors, four college-age resident assistants and the young family of our shared living coordinator. Apartments for families with young children were included when we opened Nathalie Salmon House in 1994 and Blackhawk Manor in 2004.

Posted by Eftiola Trebicka on Oct 27, 2014 12:38:00 PM

Halloween is this Friday! I personally have always had a love/hate relationship with the Halloween season. I hate scary movies and ghost stories freak me out. I also fail to understand why anyone enjoys having strangers jump out at you in haunted houses. I do, however, love dressing up! Growing up, I loved trick-or-treating almost as much as I loved putting up the Christmas tree.
