Konrad Farewell1.jpgGood Life Senior Residences is one option for seniors interested in our Intergenerational Housing program. Good Life Senior Residences is an affordable senior living community that provides enhanced services and an intergenerational living experience.

Our Resident Assistants are a key part of H.O.M.E.'s community. Resident Assistants live in Good Life Senior Residents along side families and seniors. They are energetic and compassionate people who help senior residents out with day-to-day tasks such as laundry, and also build strong bonds through sharing social and creative activities.

Meet our current team of Resident Assistants who help make the Good Life Senior Residences so good:

Taylor studies Nursing full time at Loyola University of Chicago. In her free time she loves to read, cook, and help others out with anything (such as homework, cleaning, and etc). Taylor has been a Resident Assistant at Pat Crowley House for two months

Michael is 21 years old and loves to cook and listen to music. When the weather is good in Chicago he likes to spend time exploring the City and spending time at the beach. He also likes to read, and in his spare time plays guitar and bass in a local band. Michael has been at the Good Life for nearly a year.

Jacob is a social work graduate from the rural part of Illinois. He loves to cook and bake good food, read interesting books, and listen to all kinds of music. Jacob has been at the Good Life for nearly a year.

Joseph is from Oak Lawn, IL. He works as a social worker in long-term care and is studying to be a professional counselor. He enjoys going to concerts, obstacle courses, going to the movies, and spending time with my fiancée (Jeannette), family, and friends. Joe has been a Resident Assistant for two years.

Phil grew up in Wheaton, IL. As the younger brother of an individual with autism, he learned early to develop patience and understanding around others. Phil attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a Bachelor's in IT Management in 2013. He moved to Chicago where he pursued a career in IT. He presently works from home during the day and serves senior residents dinner once a week, occasionally helping them with their tech issues.  Phil has been a Resident Assistant for one year.
