Last weekend we had the pleasure of having volunteers from St Clement Catholic Church come to the Pat Crowley House to help us with Spring Cleaning. 18 volunteers cleaned all the windows and mini blinds in the house – a lot of windows!

A big thank you to all the St. Clement volunteers who participated in their annual Service Day and gave back to the community. We are grateful for all the other ways that parishners from St. Celment suport us as well.

Wendy, one of our Guest Chefs, was back last week as well. She treated the residents to a great home cooked meal on Saturday night. She even brought lemon bars for dessert.

Azaria, a new volunteer helped us get ready for the spring cleaning and spent some time chatting and getting to know the residents.

Chicago Cares had their monthly volunteer opportunity this past Sunday. They brought delicious rotisserie style chicken.

Kornell and Allan, our two maintenance volunteers, were here this week. Kornell is currently doing some work on the garage for us and Allan is doing some plastering in the basement.

Thank you to all of our volunteers – we really appreciate every one of you.
