Weekly Volunteer Update from the Pat Crowley House

This past weekend we had several volunteers.

First off was the Agape Church Group. Around 15 Loyola students and pastors from the church came to the Pat Crowley House on Saturday to prepare lunch – Spaghetti with meatballs and cupcakes for dessert- and to paint the basement floor. The residents enjoyed the companionship and the shared meal.

That same night our long term volunteer Wilson set up a movie night, which is always a favorite of the residents!

On Sunday we had volunteers from Chicago Cares come over for crafts, and dinner was provided by the group Friends of Lindsay.

Robert, a new H.O.M.E. volunteer, helped us to repot our indoor plants.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, we hope to see you again soon!

If this sounds appealing to you, take a look at our volunteer opportunities posted on the website and submit a volunteer application.
