Board and Staff Working on a Strategic Planning Process

The board and staff have now met twice and three sub-committees have also met to develop strategic directions for H.O.M.E. for the next five years. We are considering a vision statement that says, H.O.M.E. is a national model, creating opportunities for low-income older adults to live with dignity in community.

The four strategic directions are:

  • Identify and utilize strategic collaborations to maximize impact for clients
  • Deepen and broaden service offering to maximize independent living with dignity in community
  • Build, manage and secure financial, physical and human resources
  • Increase brand awareness

The next steps are to develop tactics and action plans for each strategic direction and prioritize them and look at the budget implications.
