BenefitsCheckUp
BenefitsCheckUp (BCU) is a program maintained by the National Council on Aging that screens seniors for benefits and services that they may be eligible to receive and assists them in navigating through the agencies that administer the benefits. The program determines eligibility for more than 1,000 city, state and federal benefits targeting minority, low-income and isolated seniors.
We will assist clients in completing BCU questionnaires and in applying for identified benefits and services, with the goal of assisting 250 seniors through the process in 2010. We offer BenefitsCheckUps free of charge and with confidentiality assured.
