Furniture Donation and Moving - Suspended

In February 2009 the board of directors of H.O.M.E. made a decision to suspend the furniture donation and moving program. This means H.O.M.E. is no longer able to pick up donated furniture nor are we able to assist low-income seniors move.

The decision to suspend the program was made because there had been a significant decline in the quantity and quality of donated furniture and because donation revenue had decreased in the past year.

The board and staff are hopeful that this program can be restarted in some new form in the future.
